Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political advisor who was the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 221. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009), the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011), the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and as the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was an CNN political contributor from 2017 to 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 as a political contributor for CNN. She was involved in the elections for the re-elections of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was then appointed the press secretary deputy for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki worked from 2005 to 2006 as the communications director of Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as as the regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was named press secretary for President Obama's 2012 presidential election campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11, 2013. It was believed that she would replace Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21But, Josh Earnest was announced to succeed Carney on May 30th the 30th of May, 2014. The White House welcomed her back to the White House in 2015 as the communications director, and she remained until the end of Obama's presidency.
